Hand and upper extremity surgeon Parag M. Phadke, MD, joins the team of experts at Carolina Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center on Jan. 22. Fellowship-trained with subspecialty certification in hand and upper extremity care, Dr. Phadke offers the latest treatments. As a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Phadke specializes in fracture care and hand and upper extremity surgery. He is dedicated to providing expert care and support for patients needing treatment for their hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder injury or condition. His expertise includes:

Dr. Phadke earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then moved to Charlotte to complete his internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the Carolinas Medical Center. Following his residency, Dr. Phadke committed to an additional year of training in hand and upper extremity surgery through a fellowship with Tufts University School of Medicine and New England Baptist Hospital. Later, he returned to The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to earn a master’s degree in business administration.
