Account Support Coordinator (Full Time)

Job Description:  The Account Support Specialist position is responsible for various duties throughout the billing department. The individual will process and work all collection accounts. Post insurance and patient checks received by mail. This position will balance and complete all of the end of the day reports. Work as a liaison with remote team members when needed. Other responsibilities include answering all incoming calls to the billing department and handle all in office patient billing questions.  

Requirements:  Seeking team player with a strong customer service focus and commitment. The position will require attention to detail with accounts, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and the ability to remain focused. The individual must be able to manage and balance a demanding workload with accuracy. Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10 diagnosis familiarization, and insurance practices. The individual must have knowledge of insurance practices and the ability to read and interpret patient accounts. The individual should have minimum two years of experience in the medical office setting, preferably in billing or insurance.

Scheduler – Appointments (Full Time)

Job Description:  The Scheduler – Appointments position is responsible for coordinating provider schedules in order for the Practice to achieve the highest standards of patient service and satisfaction. Other responsibilities include answering incoming telephone calls and directing callers to the appropriate department. Responsible for knowledge of the referral process and communicating appointments to a referring office by phone and/or fax in a timely and accurate manner. 

Requirements:  Seeking team player with a strong customer service focus and commitment. This individual must be outgoing and sensitive to patient needs.  Outstanding telephone communication skills and excellent attention to detail are required. Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10 diagnosis familiarization, and insurance practices.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (Full Time)

Job Description:  Seeking a team player with customer service focus and commitment. The Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant performs various direct patient care activities under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor. Assists with diagnostic testing and clinical procedures in accordance with level of training and department procedures.

Requirements:  This individual must be a high school graduate and possess certification from an accredited medical assistant program. Must possess willingness to accept direction and perform repetitive tasks. Previous medical experience is desirable.
