State-of-the-art office location to open summer 2014

GASTONIA, N.C. (Oct. 22, 2013) – Carolina Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center will break ground on its new facility, which will be located at the intersection of South New Hope Road & Court Drive in Gastonia, on Oct. 24 at 12:30 p.m. The new building will open for patient appointments in the summer of 2014.

“We are thrilled to be able to expand our services and provide patients with exceptional orthopaedic and sports medicine care in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility,” says Dr. Clay Thomason, orthopaedic surgeon at Carolina Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center. “Designed around the specific needs of our patients, this office location will offer several upgrades from our current building.”

The 29,000-square-foot facility, developed by Brackett Flagship Properties, will provide patients and providers additional space for administering exceptional bone, joint and muscle care. Located adjacent to the practice’s current building, the new building will offer patients an atmosphere that is better personalized to their individual needs, with environmentally friendly features, including motion sensor lighting, expanded digital X-ray services, pain management procedure suites and physical therapy services.
